Small is beautiful, they say - and it’s certainly true for toggle switches. One of the great advantages of the toggle is that they take up very little space.

But there’s always room for improvement - which is why Nexus supplier OTTO have shaved even more width off their T7 series of toggle switches to create the T71.

The new T71 is 35% narrower than the T7 - measuring just 0.56 inches wide, and 1.05 inches long.

The new smaller housing means that the T71 is a great choice where space really is limited.  As toggle switches are often used in control panels fitted with many switches, those fractions of an inch can really add up.

It has has all the safety specifications you’d expect from OTTO switches, so can withstand severe vibration and shock in severe conditions - heavy equipment, industrial control, marine and appliance applications.

Sealed to both the international submersion specification IP68S and tested to IP69K, the T71 can withstand direct water spray and submersion, even during operation. Products bearing the IP69K rating have passed a thorough set of tests to make sure they offer protection against penetration of high pressure, high temperature water and dust.

It’s available in single pole only, offering both single and double throw capability.  Great contact wiping action provides low resistence, and makes it a good choice for switching loads from logic level up to 16 amps. The snap action switch has a detent mechanism to lock and unlock movement, to make switching operation simple and safe.
